Όπως γράφει το Spin, o Eddie Vedder την περασμένη Παρασκευή στο Milton Keynes στην Αγγλία στην μέση του Daughter κατηγόρησε αυτούς που χωρίς αφορμή επεμβαίνουν σε ξένες χώρες, λέγοντας τα εξής:
"I swear to fucking God, there are people out there who are looking for a reason to kill!" λέει γύρω στα 4:10 . "They're looking for a reason to go across borders and take over land that doesn't belong to them. They should get the fuck out and mind their own fucking business." Ο Vedder δεν ονόμασε χώρα, αλλά στο Ισραήλ λένε ότι αναφέρεται σ' αυτούς
"Everyone's the fuckin' same! So why are people at war? Stop the fucking shit, now! Now! Now! We don't want to give them our money. We don't want to give them our taxes to drop bombs on children! Now! No more! Now!"
H Jerusalem Post έγραψε ότι ήταν μια διατριβή εναντίον του Ισραήλ και ένας DJ είπε ότι οι Pearl Jam είναι ανεπιθύμητοι στο Ισραήλ, παρά τις προσπάθειες των φίλων τους που προσπαθούν να τους φέρουν μέσω της ιστοσελίδας τους
