Ο Eddy Amoo, τραγουδιστής της soul μπάντας των 70s 'The Real Thing' πέθανε σε ηλικία 73 ετών.
Οι 'The Real Thing' είχαν τραγούδια όπως το 'Feel the Force' και το 'You To Me Are Everything', το οποίο έφτασε στην κορυφή των charts το 1976.
Ο Amoo είχε ξεκινήσει την καριέρα του ως τραγουδιστής στους 'The Chants' τη δεκαετία του 60' και αναφέρεται ότι ο John Lennon υποστήριζε τους Chants, οι οποίοι είχαν εκπροσωπηθεί από τον manager των Beatles, Brian Epstein για ένα μικρό χρονικό διάστημα.
